I so happy to be able to race 30 mins from my house at the up coming event at Irvine Lake May 3-5. This race will have a big spectator count and will be so good for the sport of drag boat racing. We have a busy weekend. First this we are going to do is get the Trophy Wife out of the trailer and get the oil changed. Then we will turn our attention on the trailer, this thing needs a good cleaning. One thing is for sure Those Guys Racing will be ready to go racing by the end of the weekend.

Glad your pumped up Mclovin.... I'm pumped too! Irvine was the first drag boat race that I took Garrett to when he was about 8 years old... I think it's cool that we get to race there!

Official update... We are ready for LODBRS Irvine race!!!
We spent the weekend doing maintenance on the hauler, we cleaned it up, fixed the running lights, cleaned out the cabinets of all the stuff we don't need to carry and took inventory of what we have... Filled all the nitrous bottles, and reloaded it to travel!!! the Trophy Wife got some love too... fixed the rub rail, washed and buffed out! and she's looking good!

We had a great weekend at the California Classic Irvine Lake Race. We met our goal for the weekend, qualifying the Trophy Wife number one which we met. The second goal was to take home the trophy and the cash which was also met. I want to say this: Those Guys Racing has the best crew chief, my dad, Gary Breistig. He had the tune up on the boat all weekend and was able to tell me what the boat was going to run each pass. I would also like to thank my crew: Cheyne, Jim, Kyle, Hugo, Mitch, Mike "McLovin", Shane Francis, and Elliot. I would also like to thank all of my friends and family that came out to support us, this meant so much to me and the team. I had a big surprise Sunday morning... in the staging lane I looked up and spotted my Grandmother Ruby with my aunt Lorna coming to give me a hug and wish me good luck for the big day. It was so cool to have my them be able to share the day with us. Last but not least I want to thank my wife Kristi and daughter Marin. Without my wife's support, I would not be able to do this. And the biggest thanks goes to my mom, Nancy for taking care of all the food for us this weekend.

I wish I was there guys. Hope you all enjoy the new video. I only used the footage from rounds 2 and 4 since 1 and 3 were bye runs.
